Foundation

The company was founded by Giancarlo Gentili as a maker of foundry models.

Partnership

Collaboration began with the Bimota Group for the design and production of motorcycle fairing models.

Expansion

The company expanded into urban design and industrial design sectors.

Pantograph

The first CNC pantograph was acquired.

Gentili srl

Gentili S.r.l. was established following a generational handover from father to daughter.

Gemar srl

Gemar S.r.l. was founded as Gentili’s technical consultant, developing the “conveyor belt” project for the woodworking industry. It also filed a patent for a multi-function numeric control machine.

CAD-CAM

Gemar S.r.l. acquired the technical skills to support Gentili S.r.l. with its cad-cam development.

ISO 9001

Gentili S.r.l. is certified under UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, while Gemar S.r.l. receives the patent acknowledgment for their 2011 invention.

Strengthening Collaboration

Due to growing market demand, the “conveyor belt” product under the Gemar brand began to be manufactured by Gentili S.r.l. Meanwhile, Gemar grew in staff and repositioned itself as a technical-commercial consulting entity.

Food grade

Gentili S.r.l. developed a food-grade production process and acquired its first 4-axis CNC machining center.

2023

Gemar Quality

Gemar S.r.l. expanded into product commercialization and embarked on the road to obtaining UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Advanced Technology & Quality Control

Gentili invested in 5-axis CNC machines and introduced Quality Control 4.0, enhancing precision, automation, and traceability across the production line.

A New Milestone of Responsibility & Quality

Gentili makes decisive strides in its sustainable growth:

  • Achieving compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocol
  • Publishing its first Sustainability Report
  • Initiating the ISO 14001 environmental certification process and the UNI/PdR (Gender Equality) praxeological reference
